It's with great sadness that Andy Sizer has passed away due to the terrible disease that is cancer. The sport of FT has lost a really great fella. Andy loved his FT and travelled with me to Norway and Germany for the WFTF championships, we also went to Weston Park to the Euros together on a few occasions.

Tragically taken too soon he leaves behind a son, daughter and wife amongst many friends and his team in Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service where he was a leading firefighter.

Rest In Peace Andy, you will be sorely missed

This is such a big loss for us in Northern Ireland. I have shot with Andy many times and had the pleasure of partnering Andy on his last shoot at County Down. He wasn't well and at that stage and had told me of his illness. But nevertheless in true "Andy form" he was more concerned about ensuring that everyone had a good shoot. He put out a great course and we had and plenty of craic. As usual laughs were guaranteed!!!

I will really miss you Andy.

Thanks for everything.
