Welcome to Shooting-the-Breeze.com

A site for airgunners that like to talk about it, as much as they like to do it...

Here we hope you will find up to date information, news and reviews, and as much info as we can pack in about competition airgun shooting in the UK and indeed, around the world.
As well as information and results, we'll be posting regular articles and reviews about aspects of the sports that we find interesting.
Organisations and clubs are welcomed to add info and events to the calender, and there are facilities for members such as a discussion forum and galleries etc.

On the left you'll find links to the forum and your control panel, and the search facility.
On the right you'll find the calender, which links to a thread in the forum specific to each event.
Below you'll find the news headlines, articles, polls and recent active threads from the forum.

If you have any feedback, please let us know by clicking here.

WFTF Wales 2017 : Rifles to be bagged at all times

At Wales 2017 it will be a requirement that all competitors transport their guns around the Glanusk estate in either gun slips or cases.

I've checked this with WAFTA and it does include when moving around the course between lanes.

The weather was kind to us today , and brought out a bundle of PB's ... Top of the class today was Theresa Reed with an excellent PB of 59 , well done Theresa , only one more PB possible now , 60ex60 ... Rob Shepperson is now hooked on HFT and put in his PB of 55 , beating his 'coach' Tench on countback ... To be fair Simon is still lobbing his .22 bricks .. Sophie Steele-Quick is ever improving on PB 47 ... and on his first visit to Kingsley , Steve O'Mara notched PB 44 , unfortunately his ' high ' didn't last long , as Karen O'Mara made her last target to pip him on 45 , and she has only shot HFT a couple of times ... He said he would have the radio on loud all the way back to Yorkshire to drown out the mickey taking ... Thank you to all the shooters , and we hope you can make the next one on Sun Dec 18th .... Scores as follows ...

Theresa Reed 59 PB
Nigel Smith 56
Ian Howarth 56
Rob Shepperson 55 PB
Simon Howarth 55 ( .22 )
