Welcome to

A site for airgunners that like to talk about it, as much as they like to do it...

Here we hope you will find up to date information, news and reviews, and as much info as we can pack in about competition airgun shooting in the UK and indeed, around the world.
As well as information and results, we'll be posting regular articles and reviews about aspects of the sports that we find interesting.
Organisations and clubs are welcomed to add info and events to the calender, and there are facilities for members such as a discussion forum and galleries etc.

On the left you'll find links to the forum and your control panel, and the search facility.
On the right you'll find the calender, which links to a thread in the forum specific to each event.
Below you'll find the news headlines, articles, polls and recent active threads from the forum.

If you have any feedback, please let us know by clicking here.

Well done to Neil Hague for winning the Essex 50 today.
Neil had to win the shoot-off with Helen Carragher who also finished joint first.
Excellent shooting in tricky conditions.

Great day out and many thanks to our hosts, ETL. Great course, great company and great weather.

Cheers. Barry

Cambridge HFT Sunday August 28th

I know, the second Cambridge shoot in a row without a hint of a tsunami or gale force wind of Oz proportions. One could almost get complacent. But then you’d remember this was a “Cambridge Rules” course and set aside that brief moment of optimism.
Some excellent scores despite the inordinate amount of string being used, Steve Youngs with a clear win at 52 and Neil Wakelin not far behind springing his way to a 49.

Our next shoot is Sunday Sept 11th to UKAHFT rules, so assume we’ll have nice weather again for that as the following shoot on the 25th sees us hosting the National Series and you’ll probably need galoshes and a snorkel.

*Note: To shoot the National Round you need to have Pre-Booked, please do not turn up unless you have a place!

Steve Youngs 52
John Cooper 50
Richard Woods 50
Jennie Stone 50
Chris Allam 49
Simon Jones 49
Dan Measures 48
Alex Honeywell 48
Roger Bentley 48
Wayne Pearce 47
Martin Slane 46
Finn Cochrane 46
Gill Cochrane 46

Amid the ongoing preparations for next week’s Compass, we set out a practice course for today. The wind was light, but still playing tricks on the unwary, and the rain largely held off, save a short burst which was OK for those shooting in the wood, less good for those out in the open.

Scores on countback.

1. Perry Broad 48 (Recoiling)
2. Stew Powell 48 (Recoiling)
3. Adrian Tye 47
4. Mark Hubbard 46
5. Steve Handley 43
6. Granville Orange 38
7. Jess Rae 36 (Junior)

Next Sunday it's Round Five of the Compass. All welcome.
